After
working many years, Frank at Chattanooga Glass
and Nora at Sears, they decided to think past
retirement and begin a new venture.
Rustic Knolls Campground was developed in 1968 by Frank and Nora Biffath
on their family farm. As it was growing they planted alot of shade trees
and in 1974 built a 40x60 recreation building available for reunions and
picnics. In 1975 a swimming lake was added and the farm already had a fishing
lake at that time. The original campground consisted of eight camping sites.
Over the years it has grown to 120 full hook-up sites (109 Seasonal) 20 water & electric
sites and 10 primitive sites. |

In
the summer of 2005 the permanent campers
went together and donated a flag pole
and a inscribed rock in memory of Frank
and Nora Biffath thanking them for creating
Rustic Knolls Campground. |
